Ruling on naming people during ablution

It is obligatory to say the name with the dhikr (1)
(1) The majority hold that it is Sunnah, and some of them said: It is obligatory, and to be on the safe side, he says the pronouncement, and whoever forgets it, there is nothing wrong with him.
Giving God the name at the beginning of ablution is Sunnah according to the majority of scholars, and some scholars are of the opinion that it is obligatory with remembrance, so the believer should not leave it, and if he forgets or is ignorant, then there is nothing wrong with him, and his ablution is valid, but if he deliberately left it while knowing the legal ruling; He should repeat his ablution to be on the safe side and avoid disagreement. Because it was reported from him, peace and blessings of God be upon him, that he said: There is no ablution for the one who does not mention the name of God over him.
This hadith came from chains of narration, and a group of scholars ruled that it is not proven and that it is weak. Al-Hafiz Ibn Katheer, may God have mercy on him, said: It is good, because of the many ways in which it is narrated, so it is considered good for others, so the believer should strive to pronounce the name at the beginning of ablution, and so should the female believer. He forgot that or was ignorant of that, so there is no blame.
