Prayer duties

The duties are eight (1): All takbeers other than the opening takbeer (2), and saying: “Glory be to my Lord the Great” when bowing, and saying: “God hears whoever praises Him” for the imam and alone, and saying: “Our Lord, and to You be praise” for everyone, and saying: “Glory be to my Lord.” The highest” in prostration, and saying: “Lord, forgive me” between the two prostrations, the first tashahhud, and sitting for it (3).
(1) After the author - may God have mercy on him - mentioned the conditions and mentioned the pillars, he mentioned the duties of prayer, which are: eight according to the more correct of the two scholarly opinions.
(2) The first of the duties of prayer: All takbirs other than the ihram takbir. As for the ihram takbir, it is: a necessary pillar. Prayer is not valid without it. It is not dropped intentionally or by mistake. If he prays and does not say the ihram takbir, then there is no prayer for him, so the takbir is necessary. The first, and it is said: It has the opening takbirat; Because of his saying, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him: “It is forbidden to say takbir, and it is permissible to say takbir.” This takbir is obligatory for everyone, and its wording is “God is Great.” This is what the majority of scholars agree upon, and nothing else is sufficient. Neither “God is Greatest” nor “God Most Hearing” is sufficient for it. It is not sufficient except with the wording “Allahu Akbar,” as stated in the texts, and the meaning is: greater than every great, and greater than every great. As for the takbir of bowing, prostration, rising from prostration, and the rest of the takbirs, these are obligatory according to some scholars, and it is the most correct; Because the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, preserved it and said: “Pray as you have seen me pray,” and when he neglected to neglect the first tashahhud, he prostrated for it the two prostrations of forgetfulness, and that indicates its obligation. Most said: It is a Sunnah, and what is omitted from it does not invalidate the prayer intentionally or by mistake. The most likely is What appears to be the case is that it is obligatory with dhikr. As for what was omitted due to forgetfulness or ignorance, there is no problem. If he did not say “Allahu Akbar” when bowing, or did not say “Allah hears whoever praises Him” when rising, out of ignorance or forgetfulness, then there is nothing wrong with him, and his prayer is valid, but it is not permissible to intentionally leave it, and if He left it forgetfully and prostrated two prostrations for forgetfulness.
(3) These eight, all of them are obligatory with remembrance and knowledge, and with ignorance and forgetfulness they are omitted, and if he leaves them out of forgetfulness or any of them, he prostrates for forgetfulness whether he is an imam or alone. As for the person being led in prayer, he follows his imam, but the imam prostrates for forgetfulness and alone as well. Because of his saying, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him: “Pray as you have seen me pray,” and because when he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, inadvertently left the first tashahhud, he prostrated for it the two prostrations of forgetfulness before he said the salutation.
